Bought HP Officejet 5510 online plus extra ink cartridges using one of their discount coupons. Unit was listed as in stock when I placed order. They immediately shipped the ink cartridges, but notify me a day later the HP was now not available but they'd check nationwide stock. Nothing more until 8/25 when they cancel the order for HP unit. I then had to call to send back the extra ink cartridges, plus customer support person had a really bad attitude. Officemax is off my supplier list. |

Ordered a printer on Sunday, it was on my porch on Tuesday. Didn't have to deal with their customer service, so I have no idea if they're good or not. but I have no reason to give this vendor anything less than 5 stars. |

Never do businees with these folks! I rec'd a wrong item, a correct item that I had to re-oder, and a replacement item. So now I have 3 items, only wanted one, and two charges on my credit card. Multiple phone calls and it's still not straightend out! Avoid doing business with Office Max, unless you enjoy headaches and extra charges! |

I purchased this router and a cardbus adapter, each having a $20 rebate. Just received word that my rebates request were invalid because the rebates were coming to the same home address. Unfortunately there was no warning of this on any printed information or the rebate form and the ad from the store even offered an additional $10 rebate if the two items were purchased together. Excellent product, good store,very disappointing experience. Will not buy again if there is a rebate involved. |

I recieved my order as placed and in good condition. I placed my order with a online rebate coupon which was accepted and processed correctly. The product price was low (comparitive shopping) and quality of product recieved - very high. I am totally satisfied with this transaction. Great job OfficeMax! |

I ordered an Epson printer from OfficeMax on a Tuesday. It arrived the next day by UPS. By using an OfficeMax coupon, would they frequently e-mail to customers, I bought the printer (even considering the sales tax), for less than it would have cost somewhere else on the Web. |

I ordered this printer from Office max and was told it would arrive in 4-7 business days. I called them on day five and they said it was on the way. Day 7 came so I called their customer svc dept & They told me that it was no longer available. I asked when they planned on telling me this and my reply was : "I can't comment on that" what is this company a secret society that leaves the consumer completely in the dark ? Don't bother with this store ! |

NO stars for OfficeMax! I was promised 2-3 day delivery, but after waiting for more than a week & having a completely-unrelated product delivered, I learned that the item was really not stocked. I spent another week trying to resolve things. I have still not received a refund so I cannot buy the item I need elsewhere. I should have known: OfficeMax sounded too good to be true, so I should have avoided them! Buyer Beware!! |

FAST free delivery was a joke. I placed my order on DEC 21, DEC 23 was sad to be the expected delivery date. Well, I got my order, ... DEC 29. Little difference ... I will never order again through the OfficeMax. |

I placed an order and my status has been switched 3times. My order was no processed for a long time, and when it was, the next day it was placed on backorder. Then i recieved an e-mail saying that it is cancelled. When i called customer service, it took 20-30min for someone to get to me. Customer service was poor. The people were hardly willing to help and wasn't open to listen to my problem. I had to reorder my order again. And I don't even know if my order will come. |

Wow people, I have shopped with OfficeMax using the online store and in person. I have never had a problem like those stated below. Rebates are a little slow in getting, but that's expected no matter where one goes. I have bought Cat5 and 6 cords, printers, scanners, cable routers, and CD burners, amongst other stuff that I cannot remember. All sales staff both online and in person have been extremely helpful in making my decisions. It seems as though people expect too much. Grow up. |

I ordered a leather chair, it was backordered for 3 weeks, then they thought they shipped it but never did, then they shipped the wrong chair to me, then over the following 4 weeks I called 6 times, speaking to customer service and management, each time being assured the return will go through in a few days and there's "nothing they can do". I now have to protest the charge with my credit card company, because OfficeMax service employees and management are ridiculously incompetent. |

I placed an order to get a digital camera from officemax.com. The next they I got a phone call from the fraud protection department of my credit card company. officemax tried to charge my card an additional $50, not honoring their sale price. I called officemax to correct the problem. The customer representatives are not friendly and they are not knowledgable. I had similar problems before with office max,Iwill never shop on their online store. The way that they handle online orders are awfull. |

I ordered a camera on 6/8. The website indicated the camera was in stock. The next day a representative called to tell me it was going out that day. I called 06/18 as I have yet to receive it. I was told they were on back-order and I would receive it shortly. I then spoke to another person who explained the camera is actually shipped from a third party vendor. I called that vendor and was told it was on back-order since Dec.02 and it is not coming in. I will never shop here again. |

After seeing some of the reviews here, I was a bit skeptical about buying online from OfficeMax. However, I can only say that their dealings with me were prompt and professional. Their price listed here was definitely the best deal. I received one confirmation email and the item was delivered the next day (*free* shipping). They did have to call to get directions to my house to deliver the item, and the taxes were a bit more ($10 instead of $6) than predicted, but I'm overall quite satisfied. |

(Edited September 17th by Efessen) I enjoy shopping @ OfficeMax.com for their coupons and free shipping... but they've been getting on my nerve lately. The website's stock is not very up to date. The item may be listed as in-stock or even your receipt may say it is in stock, but after you make your purchase, it does not stay very consistent. After you make your purchase, it becomes a lottery as to whether or not your item is in stock and ships on time. |
