You are inundated with pop-ups asking if you want to "Chat" with someone to ask questions. during my purchase process, I had no less than 20 "Chat" requests. Put a button somewhere on the page that gives you the "Chat" option. |

I still want to know - I was trying to get though to the chat people to verify that I had purchased the correct item AND to verify how long it had been since we ordered another battery from you last. I was not convinced that it had been a year since the last one and I wanted to check and it would not go to the chat screen - all other screens are working fine. Perhaps someone can email me and let me know how long it has been since the last battery for our laptop. Very accomodating and efficient, especially helpful for a computer novice. 2. So far, very satisfied with the product purchased; all going very well with my new PC. In hindsight however, the only comment I have in regard to some frustration is related to the merchant's web page where I could not find any field to conveniently "remove" items from my "shopping cart" as typically found on other shopping web sites..I ended up simply closing out the web site. When I revisted it the next day the item I wanted to remove was still showing in the ordering process and I couldn't get rid of it, So, I once again left the site and returned to it days later when apparently, the merchant's "default time limit" expired and my shopping cart showed empty. I kept the Dell page up for 1 1/2 days because I wanted to make sure I was really getting what I needed and wanted without being rushed (as in the "no-information" stores). I just finished my order, am very pleased, and do not feel all stressed out over the experience. Thanks for making the experience pleasent. By the way, during the time I was checking things out on your website, I was also babysitting for my 2-1/2 yr grandaughter (she's my heaven), but I was still able to get the job done because I wasn't rushed. |

The ship date change from 3/11/2010 in shopping cart to 3/17/2010 when order processed. Hmmmm...I will be watching to see if ship date is changed again. As for part(3), #4 "out of stock" notices, I didn't see any. Is that because everything is in stock or because of bad placement? I don't know, so I didn't answer. |

It took my five trys to place the order. You offer a way of splitting the charges over dfs and a credit card. The first time I did it I let the site split the amounts and then the order was canceled because the split your site did put me 2 cents over my dfs limit. I was then told I had to completely cancel the order and then try again. I then would start the order and your site would suddenly become unavailable to modify. Then the site gave me issues with having a different billing and shipping address. Over all the purchasing of the system came very close to having me switch manufacturers. I have been using dell for over 10 years and have been content until now. The purpose of a website is that I do not need to call in to someone to place the order. |

While the products and information on the site are good, the application itself had problems. 2 different screens that came up during ordering "jumped" and would not allow me to move ahead or go back. Had to log off and on again three times to complete purchase. Not very impressive for a computer vendor to have issues with their on-line purchase app. |

Too many support options made it confusing to pick the appropriate package.All I wanted was four years of on-site maintenance agreement. I'm not sure what comes with it. |

delivery was to be on or before 2/22/10. I have recieved 3 emails extending the order. NO compensation for the longer wait. The last email would of canceled the order if i had not responded in 24 hrs. I was not happy as I am having alot of issues with the current computer and wouldnt be buying a new one if it was working well. Luckily i was able to use it that day. I still have no delivery date as of 03/01/2010 |

This "confirmation" is early, I STILL DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT YET! original order #169689663 spent 2 days and an hour being bounced from rep to rep just 2 change payment & pay w/ credit card; credit card # entered wrong 3 times & each time declined; called cancelled this order & reorder subordinate product (ordr#172131059) because of poor customer service; really wanted first product but representative could not understand to get number correct; when cancelled first order rep did not even ask WHY order was being cancelled??? Dell needs to work on its TELEPHONE customer service. |

Just received a catalog about NextLIfe Ink and there was even a convenient link in the order process, but I have a Dell printer and that does not appear to be an option for buying nextlife ink. I figure it should be and option to be environmentally responsible in my ink purchases even if it is with the Dell brand, don't you? |

Site was easy to work with and well laid out. I ordered a desktop and monitor. I initially worked with a Rep by chat, who forwarded me a quote with an extra 5 year warranty that we had not discussed. He was polite and informative, but I don't appreciate having to catch and remove extra items to get the price agreed upon. Desktop customization was easy to do, lots of choices. The discount on the monitor was not offered when added to the order as part of the desktop customization. I had to add the monitor separately to get the discount. Disappointed with pricing games. The prices are good if you make sure you are getting the pricing listed on the product pages. Half of my order was on backorder, although it delivered 2 weeks before their original anticipated ship date, A pleasant supprise. Shipping could not have been better. Without the pricing descrepencies and the issue with extra items being added to the quote, I would have given an excellent rating. |

I had placed an order for my computer. I got an email that my order was delayed a week. That was not a problem, but I called customer service because if it was going to be delayed any more than that, I was going to be out of town for a week and didn't want my order to be sent back to them and cause any more delays. asked if someone could put a note in my account that if my computer was delayed again, please don't send it before a specific date. I got transferred to 3 or 4 different people and the person I finally ended up with kept reading a scripted answer apologizing for the delay. I tried to tell her that was not the issue, but she did not seem to understand me. I got an email today saying that my order was cancelled, because some part is no longer available.
