I ordered an Olympus flash they listed as being in stock (and approx. $30 less than most other merchants). Approx. 30 mins after placing the order, I received a "courtesy call" to inform me that their Olympus Rep says it will be 4-6 weeks before they have it in stock but they have this nice, *better* 3rd-party flash (from a maker I've never heard of) and wouldn't I like to order that one instead? I immediately cancelled the order now that I knew what kind of outfit with which I was dealing.
Classic disreputable merchant behavior and not to be tolerated in my opinion.
BUYER BEWARE!!!
UPDATE: 3/9/09 - The merchant response contains at least two lies: 1) Their salesman absolutely told me the flash was out of stock for 4-6 weeks. Second, I made NO attempt to get a lower price. They contacted me again today and claimed that the flash "had been out of stock but it is now back in stock." No thanks, I replied. Retailer Response (02/27/2009): item was in stock the customer was trying to strong arm us wanting a price reduction and had said he will issue us a bad review if we dont sorry it wont work |

Hey - ordered a Nikon Speedflash for my D60 - order came quickly - very courteous - none of that "automated" nonsense - live salesperson that had me off the phone quickly (before the wife heard me!) I recommend them highly and will def purchase something again! Thanks! |

Needed a flash for my Nikon. Harley Gold gave me my options and helped me choose a great one. Needed in in less than 1 week and Harley got it to me in 3 days. Good experience, good customer service and delivered on time. Would order here again. |

I don't understand ugly stick. I had nothing like that happen to me. I told em what I wanted and it was shipped. When I decided it really wasn't what I wanted after all they told me not to worry and to just return it because they wanted their customers to be happy with their experience. As it turned out I did want a Canon Flash unit and they credited me the money I had already spent with them, gave me FULL Credit and shipped it out to me the same day without waiting for my shipment with their returned goods to even arrive at their warehouse. Where I come from (Missouri) the show me state...They most definately SHOWED ME honesty, courtesy, patience and goodwill. I will ALWAYS shop them first. P.S. And they beat the prices of many on ebay. I did request signature required delivery, I was assured by the sales rep that this would be set up that way, but UPS just left the package on our deck - without acquiring a signature. I specifically requested the signature required, because my dogs often take packages and shred them to pieces, so this way, I get the package handed to me. |

I ordered an infrared light for my camera. Great Price! Unfortunatly it was backordered for 3 weeks. They have the best price I could find for it so I waited. I didn't cancel my order. My contact, with her great customer service skills kept me updated and the minute the product was recieved, it was shipped to me. I have recomended this store to a couple of my friends. I tried several sites and had a difficult time connecting, finding what I was looking for and placing the order. AccessoryCircuit.com made it very simple for me to find the product I wanted at considerably less price than the other sites I investigated. All the information about time to ship the product, expected delivery times, plus a convenient map showing likely delivery times by region made it very simple for me to make a choice. (Edited March 25th by Fracas55) Ordering was easy, and part was stated to be in stock. We'll see whether the web site was up-to-date in their information. UPDATE: received a call from their sales dept. - part was stated to be on backorder - ($58.00 price for Panasonic PV-DAC11A AC/DC Adapter and Palmcorder Camcorder Battery Charger, (aka PV-DAC11-still listed on their website)-sales person said they had an equivalent part for $99.99. I accepted their offer. When the part arrived, it appears to be the same part number as advertised at a lower price (PV-DAC11A). Bottom line: Caveat emptor. I will not be a repeat customer. UPDATE: Received a call from Accessory Circuit's customer service regarding my initial feedback score (1 star). After discussion, Accessory Circuit agreed to refund $41.99 to my account, bringing the price to match their website. . As of 3/25/09, the refund is there! This resolves the issue to my satisfaction. |

Yup, I should've believed the reviews I prior to placing the order. These guys just tried to pull the exact same bait and switch scam on me. I figured I'd give them a try because they were undercutting everyone by 20-30 dollars. Well guess what... The next day I got the call from "Stephen" in their "Sales" department telling me that the lens I ordered was on back order, but they had a better quality lens from a different manufacturer, which was more expensive... I ordered a charger for my camera and left on a business trip. They called me at home and then e-mailed me to say they had tried to reach me. I e-mailed them with my cell # and they called me there to tell me my charger was backordered and they had a better one for slightly more $$. I admit, I thought "bait and switch??" but ordered anyway. When I got home from my trip the charger (a better one than I had ordered) was there and worked just fine. I am happy and would order from them again. Good service, which is very important to me. |

I ordered a Nikon sb600 flash for 189. I get a call saying it is in back order eventhough website said in stock. They asked me to change my order to Vivitar 383 for the same price. They lists for it for 399 and claim to be a superior product. I checked with B & H and they list the Vivitar for 129, it's clearly a cheaper product. Classic bait and switch. I ordered replacement batteries for my Sony Mavica Digital Camera... they tried to do me a favor and give me a better quality style battery for the same price that I ordered, since those were out of stock. This better quality style did not fit, therefore, they replaced them with exactly what I needed at no extra cost to me. They resolved the error very efficiently. I would not hestitate doing business with them again! |

Great so far. I did not notice any "out-of-stock" notices, so I do not have an opinion on their visibility. Called me shortly after my order to "up sale" me a different product, saying the product I ordered had just gone to back order(4 to 6 weeks out). I declined and I got my ordered product on time anyway. Only bad thing to say is that the pictured item was not the same as I ordered. NOticed the notice for this after I made my order. Decription of my order changed a little from my online order form to the shipment order form(I thought I was getting a name brand product, when in fact I wasnt). Okay though for the price I got. I probably will not order from this company again. |

Items orginally ordered were a Canon battery & charger which were not in stock, but not shown as such on the internet. I agreed to accept another product which I was not happy with, so I requested an exchange or a refund which went smoothly and promptly. They still didn't have the charger which I ordered elsewhere. For the inconvenience, I was given a free camera case. Nice touch. |
