The price was right and the merchandise was advertised as being in stock however when I ordered the items I received a call from the merchant stating that one of the major item on the order was out of stock and it would be 6 to 8 weeks before they could ship. Offered ne another brand which I refused (sounds like the old Bait and switch game to me. If its not in stock be truthful |

This was a classic "bait and switch" scam. Shame on me for falling for it. The order was place on line from home. When the Fraud Operative at AccessoryCircut reached me on my cell phone I was traveling to a photo shoot. I was told that the Canon batteries I ordered were out of stock and would be for 6 months because they were defective. Their web site showed the item clearly in stock. This Operative then switched me to an aftermarket produce for the same price as the OME. How dump am I? I've sent this information to the AZ Attorney General's Office in Phoenix, but as this is an out of state Web Based Scam Operation I'm sure noting will happen to them. I am a professional photographer that leads photography tours with clients from all over the country. I'm asked all the time who to buy camera and accessories from, well guess what, this "bait and switch" operation will only recieve negative comments from me. I placed an order for a Nikon battery. I was called that day and told that the battery was back ordered because of problems with "overheating" of the battery, but that I could purchase a "better" battery for only $20 more. I was hesitant to accept a non-Nikon battery, but I did. I then checked to find the current price for the "better" battery and discovered that it cost $20 less than the Nikon, not $20 more. I sent an email to the seller objecting to their deceptive practices. They called and said they wanted me to be pleased with their service and would give me the "better" battery for the same price I would have paid for the Nikon battery. I accepted their offer, but continue to feel that I was played for a fool. They exchanged items by Sony with items from Digital Concept and charged more than most places. Example is the Charger I ordered was $10.00 to 20.00 cheaper at Fry's and other places on the net. The battery also changed from Sony to Digital Concept was higher than other places. I will never do business with these people again. In fairness they did say they were replacing it but with a better product. This was not true. Typical bait-and-switch scheme. Ordered the brand name Kodak battery, got a call saying it was 'out of stock' but he could give me a better (generic) battery for only a little bit more. I said no thanks, I'd wait. Then suddenly the Kodak battery was going to be out of stock for 6 weeks. I said I'd wait. Then after a 5-6 second hold time where he 'checked with his manager' he 'got approval' to give me the generic battery for the same price as the Kodak battery. I took it, because it was still cheaper than I could get another generic battery elsewhere, but I would definitely never do business with them again. As for the product itself, it's fine -- it's just not what I wanted, not what I ordered, and the whole bait-and-switch phone call tactic is pathetic. Salesperson used a bait and switch technique with me. Told me the item on the screen (Cannon battery pack) was not available. He offered me a substitute product which wasn't on the website. He assured me the product would be mailed the day I called and it was not shipped for four days, consequently it did not arrive in time to take it on my 2-week vacation. They were great. My first item was out of stock and back ordered so I got a phone call letting me know it was backordered. I then ordered a similar version of what I needed because I was going away and couldnt wait for the back ordered item. This is different then other sites, becuase I usually just get an email about the backorder and have to wait for the item. This was great customer service. |

First I was sent a defective flash, which wasn't that huge of a deal, but I was told that there was going to be some sort of "tag" thing done, where they send a new one, and I just give the old flash to the UPS guy, but after a while, nothing came, and when i called back, they said they were waiting for ME. Not only that though, I was also told that my original flash that I ordered (The Nikon SB-600) was recalled, and for that reason, they were sending me the flash that I got. One of my friends looked it up and it was definitely still selling. I'm disappointed, because I liked the simplicity of the Nikon one, with fewer buttons and a better rep to begin with. I'm just wondering why I was lied to, and I don't really plan on using this company again. |

I Purchased A Nikon flash from accessorycircut on april 1st with regular shipping and within 4 days i recieved it in the mail without a glitch brand new factory fresh just like i would buy from my usual store bhphoto but without the jacked up price will recommend to all my friends good job! |

Bait and Switch. I won't shop there again, but they did refund $40 after I sent this email, but they did send what I ordered.
Dear AC folks,
When I placed this order on the 27th I received a call from Harley Gold. He informed me that the batteries I ordered from your website were no longer available. He offered a replacement which was $7 more each, but he assured me they were manufactured by the same manufacturer as the OEM batteries with a slightly greater capacity.
I was suspicious of a bait-and-switch but he assured me that only the packaging of the batteries he was recommending was different from the original Fuji parts. He said the higher price was due to the greater capacity.
The batteries arrived today. They are not manufactured by fuji battery manufacturer. I found the same batteries on multiple websites between $20 and $25 dollars.
I will give you the option of refunding $65 to my credit card or giving me a return authorization to return the entire order.

Be careful, buyers, these guys are sketchy. I ordered the SB-600 and immediately received a call from Harley telling me that Nikon had "discontinued the model" (false) and that they would send me a "much better, more expensive, Nikon recommended flash" made by digital concepts (even more false). Needless to say I canceled my order, despite their "generous" offer to throw in a free camera battery. I really didn't appreciate being strong armed by this weasely dealer. Items orginally ordered were a Canon battery & charger which were not in stock, but not shown as such on the internet. I agreed to accept another product which I was not happy with, so I requested an exchange or a refund which went smoothly and promptly. They still didn't have the charger which I ordered elsewhere. For the inconvenience, I was given a free camera case. Nice touch. |

The Merchant provided prompt service. They however didn't include all the required items in the initial shipment requiring me to notify them of the missing items and waiting for a supplimental shipment. |

Great so far. I did not notice any "out-of-stock" notices, so I do not have an opinion on their visibility. Called me shortly after my order to "up sale" me a different product, saying the product I ordered had just gone to back order(4 to 6 weeks out). I declined and I got my ordered product on time anyway. Only bad thing to say is that the pictured item was not the same as I ordered. NOticed the notice for this after I made my order. Decription of my order changed a little from my online order form to the shipment order form(I thought I was getting a name brand product, when in fact I wasnt). Okay though for the price I got. I probably will not order from this company again. |
