In the trading area the delivery is free. This comes handy when purchasing heavy items like monitors, printers printers, etc. that aren't deeply discounted at other retailers and cost a lot to ship. Sometimes they have very good discount offers that could be found online. Good customer service. On-time delivery.	Overall Rating

They usually do price matching for me and accept competitors coupons. Using this as a criteria they are ok. Prices without any discount/sales engineering are too high. Their three hour sales are pretty good. I made out really good a few weeks ago at one of their three hour sales.	Overall Rating

In over two years of regular purchases from them they have only made one error; and I understood how that particular error could have been made. Of the main office supply stores, the Depot has been the best for me, though another office supply store has some excellent sales if you go in house to get them.	Overall Rating

The manager says that this was a good price and that they had a low price Garuntee. Then I see it on Pricegrabber & find that I got ripped to say the least so I call thier support number on thier low price "Garuntee" on Officedepot.com The lady actually laughs and says that they don't honor thier lowprice Garuntee unless it's from certain merchants because "We can't beat online prices" Call em, they'll tell you the same!! They matched the price, best price we found online was here on PriceGrabber.Com, gave us the sale price and 10 % discount as well the coupon we recieved in the mail too. The savings was even beeter than the price match. One problem was a young fellow saying he was the manager but had to get the store managers approval, which the alleged manager did. When called they said their website was just plain wrong (which was reflected in the order "confirmation" as well) and I could have compared with their flyers. They would not give me the merchandise EVEN though I paid for it, and it showed on the system. I cancelled the order. Another time, bought a rebate item, but they did not send a receipt for rebate. I have to take it to the store and get a receipt. With all the hassels,I might as well go straight to the store and buy it myself. Never shop their web again.	Overall Rating

The item was listed as "in stock"; it was discontinued, according to the local store. The web page said the shipping was free; it was not. The item I requested was listed at one price; it jumped 25% when I tried to order it online. In addition, I had no guarantee that I would even get this item. I prepaid the order for in-store pickup. Upon arrival, the manager demanded that I produce a printed copy of the Office Depot email with the coupon code. Since I could not produce the email and I didn't intend to drive home and back again, I demanded a refund. BTW, I noticed nothing in the email (now deleted) about printing out the coupon code to claim prepaid merchandise. Never again! Avoid!	Overall Rating

So I ordered it with the idea that since they were a chain store they would offer good service. I checked on the order status Friday and credit card charged and order shipped. That status remained the same through the weekend. Then on monday they emailed me "The correct price of the item is $398.00, and we would be delighted to provide this item to you at this price." When the person checked on it I was then told to expect it on Tuesday or possibly Thursday due to a 'third party' carrier. When it still did not arrive I called again and was again told the order was on 'hold' and passed to another person who said the order was 'pending' and the product is not backordered, but they just haven't shipped it. I ordered (what I thought) was a good deal on a printer with a mail in rebate and some paper, got the paper but never recieved the printer. When I called the Customer Service said, "Oh yeah, that printer is discontinued so we cancelled your order without telling you". After haggling for a bit she did "find" the printer at another warehouse and offered to ship it full price with no rebate. BAIT AND SWITCH! Don't waste your time.	Overall Rating
