I've ordered a bunch of items from Buy.com. Their shipping has always been remarkably fast (speaking as an east-coaster), their prices are excellent, and they feature some really top-of-the-internet gadget bargains weekly. *This* order was lost by the USPS (not buy.com's fault). When I notified Buy.com, they immediately sent a replacement. I couldn't be more pleased. Overall Rating

The Product Page said free shipping. However, they make one of the costly shipping methods the default on the shopping cart page. I know it's my fault I missed the shipping charges on the final page before order submission, but they said "Free Shipping", so I assumed that the "Free Shipping" option would automatically be the default. I'd bet that many people get tripped up on this. Overall Rating

Placed an order for a digital picture frame and got my confirmation number. I didn't hear anything for a week, so i tried to track my order down, just to find out after a couple of email exchanges that it had been canceled. What an outrage that they didn't contact me to make sure the order gets through or to notify me that the merchandise is out of stock. Overall Rating

Buy.com False Advertising. I was fooled by Buy.com into giving them my current contact information and signed up with paypal giving them my credit card information only to have Buy.com decide not to honor the advertised sale. Now they want me to give Paypal full access to my bank account or else... No deal. FYI my credit score is 814. They've already misrepresented themselves establishing their dishonesty it seems they want to expand on that. I will not do business with buy.com again. It's too bad to because one bad apple tried to play dirty and they lost a customer with a ten year history. Try to come back from that as a business. Please note the date they're pulling this. I ordered a Christmas present with plenty of time to spare and they sent the WRONG item so I promptly submitted an RMA for a return and then found out that you have to wait for it to get back to them in Canada, then wait at least a week for them to verify THEIR MISTAKE and THEN they may decide to ship you a new one a week or so after that and then you wait some more for shipping time. I complained through e-mail and by phone, asked to speak to managers, etc. to no avail and of course the item won't arrive by Christmas now so I told them to change the RMA to refund, which also won't happen until they receive the item I sent back and then about a week after that! This was my first and obviously last order through buy.com Overall Rating

If I shop using any computer other than the one at home, Buy.com refuses to process the order. I am able to place orders with other companies usiing other computers, but not Buy.com, and But.com refuses to accept any responsibility for the problem so I usually shop elsewhere. Overall Rating

An Unmitigated Waste of Money! Do Not Buy from Buy.com - Save yourself the time and wasted money in phone calls and aggravation. I have purchased limited items from buy.com for about a year, AND my most Recent Purchase WIll Be My Last from buy.com From initiation of purchase, to completion of the order, all the way to customer service, BUY.COM is a roller coaster ride of Aggravation, Confrontation, and Unmet Expectations. They will fight you on your order every step of the way. The final straw came recently when I required information and assistance on a warranty for my computer. No help at all. If you are expecting any type of assistance from the customer service side, avoid Buy.com at all costs. NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION - THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Overall Rating

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BUY.COM!!! They like to advertise that your account is not debited until the order has been shipped... Well not only was my account debited the full amount, but i recieved a confirmation shipment email, only to recieve an email 5 days later that my order was cancelled.... total pain, now I am trying to get a refund... They cancelled the order but KEPT THE MONEY. I paid via Paypal and even paid for expedited service. When I hadn't received shipping info, I contacted THEM to see where my order was. ONLY THEN did they inform me the order had been cancelled but BUY.COM KEPT THE MONEY forcing me to file a dispute with Paypal and even file BBB and FTC complaints regarding their questionable business practices. Basically OK. However, added a smal $17 item to this $185 order which was not a 'free shipping' item and it added $7.00 shipping charges raising the cost of the added item to $24 - so I had to remove it from the order. I understand why, but seems like a losing move from the satndpoint of their sales. Over all a good experience with them so far. Overall Rating

They stonewalled my efforts to report non-delivery and to resolve the missing shipment in a timely fashion. I have been forced to file a claim through PayPal and at this time it is not clear if I will receive a refund despite non-delivery of the product. My correspondence has remained polite and respectful, despite receiving the same form letter multiple times. My advice is avoid this etailer as their low pricing is made possible by unresponsive sales support and non-delivery of orders. On average I make 100 online purchases in a year, I have received better and more engaged support and order resolution from every other online store I have used. Overall Rating
