Strengths: Great picture!!! The crispness and detail of the picture are amazing compared to our last TV. The 55" screen sure is a lot easier for these 42 year old eyes to see than our 27" screen was!!!
Weaknesses: The ONLY negative thing I can say about this TV is that the purchase price is still a little expensive for these LCD TV's.
Summary: We are amazed at the quality of the picture with our new Sony Vega 55" LCD TV. After having a 27" regular screen for so long the newer technology TV's are spectacular. The entry price is still a bit steep for an LCD or plasma screen TV but as with most electronic devices sold in America I'm sure the price will continue to drop. We just couldn't wait!!!

Strengths: HDTV--Love it. It pains me too watch regular TV now. Picture is incredibly crisp/clear.
Weaknesses: By itself, sound quality leaves you wanting more, but with Sony DVD Dream system....OUTSTANDING!
Summary: This was my first (certainly not my last) major purchase on-line. I am happy my Sony TV was my first great experience. Highly reccommend this KDF-55WF655 for superb picture quality and bang for your buck.

Strengths: ample screen
Weaknesses: not hdtv picture is rather grainy and unfocused; would like front av inputs as well.
Summary: hdtv is very good, but other channels are weak. sound quality is less than I would like hear, but so far it is an improvement from our 32inch set. Like the scandisk feature too.

Strengths: After 1 year super picture in HD, very good with with DVD, OK with standard TV signal (but that's not the TV's fault. Sound OK but I always use theater sound system
Weaknesses: My only complaint is the remote controller which requires you to swtitch through 7 screens to go from TV signal to DVD or other input.
Summary: After one year still very satisfied. I hope newer models have taken care of the remote control problem cited above. Now that newer models are available this model can be bought for less than $2300.

Strengths: Picture
Weaknesses: too wide (but XS model is much worse). Side speakers should be optional as many customers will use their home theater speakers
Summary: Picture quality is exceptional on 1080i inputs from cable box (set to "pass through")using component cables. Guests at a recent party were stunned by the exc. PQ (and one has an $8,000 plasma set). I will be surprised if the HDMI is better when I try a DVI/HDMI cable on-line (to be purchased on-line for about $25). 480i input channels vary from good to poor.
