Strengths: Cuts very well. Easy to use.
Weaknesses: Attachments for longer hair don't work very well.
Summary: This is a great trimmer for hair other than your face. Works well and doesn't cut any sensitive areas. Check out this website, it's pretty informative (and funny): www.shaveeverywhere.co... The attachment clips for longer don't work as well, but this is still a great product and would recommend it.

Strengths: Easy to use wet and dry
Weaknesses: Attachment guards don't work well
Summary: This is an excellent electric razor for trimming any hair you have below your neckline. I've tried out the razor in both wet and dry conditions. Using the razor in the shower is the best for getting rid of some unsightly hair and it left my skin feeling as smooth as it does after I use a new Mach 3 Turbo blade. The attachments don't work as well as I had hoped, but to make up for this using the bodygroom without attachments works really well. Highly recommended, especially at some of the discounts currently offered!

Strengths: powerful, easy to use, relatively safe, awesome commercial
Weaknesses: not yet.
Summary: I have been longing for a good body shaver to keep the unwanted/unsightly body hair at bay. I am Asian and am not hairy by any standard. But I like to keep the area around/near my "frank and beans" well groomed.
As such, I got a couple of options:
1. wax. No way. Skins in certain area is very delicate and I will not try it.
2. I tried razors. Very effective in relative smooth areas. But as it gets closer to the frank and beans, I get gun shy.
3. I tried a cheapo small powered cordless bikini shaper/trimmer. It is a bit weak and again, with the exposed cutting blades and minimal clearance of the attachment, it worked well. But not close enough.
4. In comes this unit. I immediately notice that it is much more powerful. Also, it has 2 types of cutting surfaces builtl-in: the regular teeth type on the tip for cutting longer hairs with the attachments attched. It also has a much safer mesh-screened curved main cutting surface. That can be used in much more "delicate" areas. So far, it is quite safe to use. Just be careful to keep teh tip away from sensative area when using without attachements.
Oh, have you seen the kick a$$ commercial on Philips website for this product? I hate to admit it. But once I saw that, I am bought.
Granted, it is a bit expensive. But for what it does and the areas it works on, you can not be cheap about it. Safety it most importmant. So far, I have only used it once. As I use it more, I will update. Keep in tuned.

Strengths: Well-built, can be used in the shower, great for sensitive areas
Weaknesses: The attachments don't work well (i.e. difficult to trim hair with the attachments)
Summary: The body groom is a great shaver to clean up hairy areas all over your body. It's gentle and doesn't irritate sensitive areas, and doesn't give you ingrown hairs that normal shaving might leave you. Aside from the one weakness mentioned above, it's a solid product.

Strengths: no cord, good maneuverability
Weaknesses: does not work well in shower
Summary: I really like this product. I bought if for my son and he really liked it. I decided to buy one for myself. I use it mainly to trim my sideburns and clean up my neck hair in between haircuts. It is very gentle but i use it more with the guards. It is a safe product to use but this is a trade off with the fact that the guards are pretty flimsy.

Strengths: Price; battery life; works in wet or dry conditions
Weaknesses: Attachments could use improvement
Summary: Works great for keeping your body hair under control. Good for trimming those sensitive areas. Takes a while to charge up, but once it's charged, the battery lasts a long time. The only big drawback is the poor performance of the attachments - once you put them on, they're difficult to pull off. Plus, they just don't work as well as my beard trimmer attachments. The shaver is easy to clean and the price is great.

Strengths: price, battery life, smooth shaving
Weaknesses: a bit loud, recharging time (8hours)
Summary: the price is great for what it does. battery life is also great; you probably will only have to recharge this thing every 2 weeks depending on use. i haven't used the razor without the attachments, because i fear of nicking my sack, but overall this thing mows down those rogue hairs like nothing else.
the razor can be a bit loud, as compared to my facial electric razor (norelco 7110x). also charging time is long. the manual says you need to charge it for 8 hours to complete recharge. i suppose this would be done at night while sleeping, so it is no big matter. for the price and what it does, i give it 5 stars.

Strengths: Works in both wet and dry conditions. Trims or fully removes hair well.
Weaknesses: Charging time.
Summary: This is a great hair shaver. Works well in all areas, and I do mean all. The attachments are great for choosing different trimming settings. Takes a bit of time to charge, but isn't really a problem since its not used everyday.

Strengths: No sharp edges, glides easily over skin without digging in.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This shaver does a good job whether you are using it as a shaver or a trimmer. It is easy to hold and it trims on both the leading and trailing edges which makes it easier to reach the middle of your back. It is only meant to be used from your neck down. I like it.

Strengths: prunes excess foliage
Weaknesses: wouldn't work as well on longer hair
Summary: at this price it's a steal so stop reading reviews, buy it, use it, and you'll be a happy customer. Just read the instructions and use common sense for the more "sensitive" anatomy, like the underarm :) it comes with a grooming comb that will cut hair to a 10th of an inch without risking the blade going anywhere near the skin.

Strengths: The attachement are pretty good.
Pretty powerful.
Weaknesses: Really huge.
Grip no easy.
Summary: Works as expected.Have been using it for few days with no issue. The attachments are real easy to use.The only issue I saw was that it is not that easy to take that off. I have tried other groomers - but it is much better. The rechargeable it is pretty useful. Will recommend to others.

Well, it was cheap
Strengths: Wet/dry op
Rechargable
Great marketing
Weaknesses: Doesn't work all that well
Comb attachments are near worthless
Cheap battery
Summary: I bought this to use wet in the shower. I would say it doesn't work as well as I thought it would. It takes several passes to remove hair and even then it doesn't get nearly as close as a blade does (with just a single stroke).
The other reviewers are right about the attachments--they suck--difficult to put on and take off, and they just don't work as well as attachments for other shavers of this type.
Finally, the battery seems to be a cheap nickel metal hydride type with memory, as the manual warns to let the razor's battery die completely before charging it again (which takes eight hours--best to do it before bed I guess). A lithium battery would not have added that much to the cost and allows for more flexible charging.
Also, it was pretty dumb to make the cradle and AC adapter use different plugs. This means that if you're traveling you need to bring the bulky purple cradle as well as the charger--just stupid.
But hey, the thing is $30, works adequately, and is wet/dry, so I can't complain too much. Hopefully Philips will make some improvements in next year's Bodygroom.

Strengths: Long battery life. Lightweight and cordless. Simply works very well.
Weaknesses: None really, though Phillips had a rebate for this on their website which was corrupt every time I tried to download.
Summary: It's a product I can recommend to others. Very handy to have (except for nose/ear which another product works well for that). The battery lasts a long time as well. Safe and effective; doesn't cut up skin like a traditional electric razor cutter.
